Builder floors in Gurgaon are stacked homes, built by individual developers or individual owners of Plots. Typically, either a developer or an owner of plot in colony and converted them into stacked homes, These would typically be three floors of building with one family living on each floor. These homes are built on 300, 400, 500, 600, 800 & 1000 sq.yrds of plot sizes. Typically, you have to share the drive way with the neighbors and manage parking of cars in accordance with the neighbors.

Challenges and Negatives:

These homes are not really recommended for the following reasons:

• Security is a challenge as these properties are in open colonies.
• Too much neighbor interference.
• Parking Problems
• Power Back up has to be individually done instead of a centralized managed power back up, and the generators will have to be maintained individually.
• Children will have to find company through schools or other avenues as these homes do not form part of a community.
• Club membership of an external club may have to be taken by the tenant as these homes do not form a part of the community and there is no Community Club as such available to such homes.

While most of these homes are normally located in open colonies, There are some organized developers who have created such homes in a community set up as well.
